Samsung Launches A41 Best Budget Smartphone in Japan For The First Time

Galaxy A41

As reported earlier that Samsung Galaxy A31 appeared on Geekbench and ready for sooner launch Samsung Galaxy A41 also appeared on Geekbench in January, and the company has launched the device in Japan with a network operator NTT DoCoMo. The model is specifically tailored for DoCoMo, so that there may be some differences as compared to the international version.

The Galaxy A41 has a 6.1-inch Super AMOLED display that works with 2400×1080 pixels and comes with a cutout at the top-notch for the front camera. The panel is kept completely flat and has relatively wide edges due to the design of the upper speaker.

The device is not carrying the Samsung chip under the hood, but the MediaTek Helio P65 Octa-core SoC. It is the chip manufactured on a 12nm process with an integrated LTE modem, which has two ARM Cortex-A75 and six Cortex-A55 cores. The cores reach up to 2.0 gigahertz and there is an ARM Mali-G52 graphics unit.

According to the Geekbench scores, the device clocks 1669 points on a single core and 5080 points on a multicore test and the memory score is 1847.

Large battery and waterproof case

In addition, Samsung offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable using a micro SDCard. In addition, there are also Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, ac-WLAN and, as usual, probably two SIM card slots in the international version.

The cameras are also improved once again on the Galaxy A41. For example, the company has added a 48MP sensor as the main camera but is now adding an 8MP sensor for wide-angle shots with a 123-degree field of view and an additional 5MP depth sensor for making the shots DSLR like images. The front camera also has a high resolution with 25MP.

Samsung is also not lumped about the battery and is upgrading it again. The capacity increases to 3500mAh via USB Type-C port. Galaxy A41 is also made waterproof by the waterproof outer casing. At least the Japanese version has an IP68 rating. The device is to be launched in June in various colors including blue, white and black.
