Samsung is Soon Presenting its Most Powerful Gaming Laptop – The Galaxy Book Odyssey

Samsung is bringing its ‘most powerful Galaxy’ laptop ever: the Galaxy Book Odyssey. It is a gaming machine featuring the world’s first Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU and uses Intel’s 11th Generation Core processors and a wide variety of ports.

About Galaxy Book Odyssey

Talking about its features, we get a 15.6-inch LCD with Full HD resolution and a frame rate of more than 60fps. The machine is relatively thin: 17.7mm, and light-weighted: 1.85kg for a gaming laptop. As mentioned earlier, this Galaxy laptop comes equipped with Intel’s 11th Gen. Core i5 or i7 CPU and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 3050 Max-Q or RTX 3050 Ti Max-Q GPU. The RTX 3050 Max-Q may offer 60fps or more with Ultra settings, whereas the RTX 3050 Ti Max-Q may offer more than 70fps at Ultra settings. Moreover, the new GPUs have 4GB of GDDR6 VRAM.

There would be two variants of the Galaxy Book Odyssey. The base variant would come with 8GB of DDR4x RAM, while the higher-end will come with 16GB or 32GB RAM. Owners of the new device could freely upgrade the base level laptop since it comes with one free SO-DIMM slot for additional RAM.

The Galaxy gaming unit comes with two PCIe NVMe SSD slots. Owners of this device could come with two PCIe NVMe SSD slots. This laptop runs Windows 10 Home and can be configured to run Windows 10 Pro.

According to more information, the Galaxy Book Odyssey also include a pro-grade keyboard, a large trackpad with Windows Precision drivers, a fingerprint reader embedded into the power button, stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos audio, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (2×2 MIMO), and Bluetooth 5.1. Then there are plenty of ports, including a gigabit ethernet port, an HDMI port, three USB 3.2 Type-A ports, two USB Type-C ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot.

This laptop is powered by an 83Wh battery and supports a whopping 135W USB Type-C charger.

The company has yet to announce its release date and prices for the two models.
