Safari Train Service Begins from Nowshera to Mardan and Dergai

Pakistan Railways in a recent development has started the new Safari train service from Nowshera to Mardan and Dergai. The Railways department is continuously engaged in bringing in changes to the department for the betterment. It either resumes or starts a fresh new service for making the railways more competitive and better.

The objective of the services is to boost tourism in the region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which is already famous for its beautiful landscape, mountains, serene lake and wonderful seasons.

The train would be taking the commuters via Takht Bhai—which is a Buddhist Monastery which is already a famous tourist location in the region. With the launch of the new train people would be able to reach there easily.

The Takht Bhai monastery is present in the list of world heritage. It is taken as one of the most well-structured Buddhist monasteries in the district of Gandhara.

The monastery is suspended nearly 500 feet atop the small hill which is nearly 2km from the Takht Bazaar in the Mardan district of KPK.

Pakistan Railways has also got the plans of restoring the service from Dergai to Karachi soon on the same very track. It has the plans to grow trees and gardens on either side of the railway’s track for beautifying the track and for making the journey enjoyable for the travelers.
