Saeed Ghani, the Education Minister of Sindh has ordered to annul the licenses of the schools that opened in the province against the directives of the government.
He asked the Deputy Commissioners to release notices to the management of all such private schools and take action against them. He also said that the final verdict of opening the educational institutions on the 15th of September would be made at the NCOC meeting in the month of September and no school would be permitted to resume its activities prior to that.
The provincial education minister said that they want all the provincial and federal education ministers to meet on the 7th of the next month so that they have all the preparations done.
He further said that the decision of closing the educational institutions was a tough one, however, the time has proven that it was an appropriate and right decision.
He indicated that they have issued the SOPs to all the public and private educational institutions, and have directed the school owners to abide by them before the opening of the educational institutes.
Saeed Ghani stressed that all the resources should be put to best use for ensuring the proper implementation of the SOPs at all the educational institutions.
