The royal couple might skip the visit to Pakistan over Kashmir issue.
Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton’s visit to Pakistan might be annulled as the tensions between Pakistan and India continue to rise over the issue of occupied Kashmir.
As per a statement issued by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of Britain (FCO) the couple might be forced for giving up their visit considering the security conditions coming out following the revoking decision of Narendra Modi of article 370 from the occupied Kashmir.
In June this year, the royal family of Britain shared that the couple would soon be visiting Pakistan this year. The news regarding the royal visit was shared on their social media accounts—Twitter and Instagram.
According to a statement released from the palace had read that the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge would be undertaking an official visit to Pakistan at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. The statement further read that the visit would be taking place in the autumn.
Mohammad Nafees Zakaria—the High Commissioner to the United Kingdom had also warmly welcomed the royal tweet and had replied that the upcoming Royal visit reflects the significance the United Kingdom attaches to Pakistan.
Both the nations enjoy historical links and wish to further strengthen them.
