The Sindh Excise and Taxation Department announced that the people living in Sindh can now register their vehicles on their computerized national identity card number issued by the NADRA.
The spokesperson of the Sindh Excise and Taxation Department said that the minister of excise and taxation has introduced the facility according to which any person resident of Sindh can get the information about the vehicles registered on their national ID card from www.excise.gos.pk.

The spokesperson of the department further said that this facility will soon be available through the text messages as well. “Facilitating people is our top priority,” the spokesperson added.
It is pertinent to mention here that the last month, the new camera-readable vehicle registration number plates were launched by the PPP-led provincial government of Sindh with several latest security features.
Shoaib Siddiqui—the Director-General Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Department Sindh, while talking to the media, said that the newly launched vehicle number plates would be produced in coordination with the National Radio and Telecommunications (NRTC). These number plates would assist in tracking the vehicles and make it easier to obtain information and data as these number plates would be camera-readable.
