In order to facilitate car registration in Pakistan, Director Excise Islamabad, Bilal Azam said that now teams will visit you at home to register your car and also provide the number plates of the vehicle.
As per Azam, the team would comprise officials from NADRA and Excise department, implementing PM Khan’s vision of door-to-door service of car registration. He said citizens interested in car registration will not have to visit the excise office anymore.
Also, the director said that citizens need not wait in queues. Services will be provided to them at their home. PM Imran Khan had also introduced applications that provided 43 different online services to customers.
The applications helped the Islamabad residents in avoiding the hassle of waiting and avail services including E-policing, emergency services, and other important certificates.
Furthermore, the application helped in the acquisition of domicile, CNIC, and arms licenses. Similarly, car registration, payment of token taxations, and the Islamabad residents don’t have to visit offices for death or birth certificates.
In an earlier article, we informed our readers that Honda Atlas has increased its car prices. In a letter issued Honda Atlas said, “Keeping in view the increase in forex [dollar rates] and its impact on CKD [Complete Knocked Down kits] and other parts, HACPL is compelled to increase the prices of Honda cars with effect from May 5.”
