Realme To Stop Launching 4G Phones In China From 2020

Realme has officially announced that the company will stop producing new 4G phones for the Chinese market from 2020 and it will fully adopt 5G.

This means the company has fully upgraded itself from 4G to 5G in the Chinese market. The company will no longer produce 4G enabled phones in China however, its decision to continue 4G mobile for markets other than China remains intact.

Realme Founder and CEO Li Bingzhong has officially announced the news today on the Realme China site he said, “Realme will fully cut into 5G in the Chinese market and no longer launch 4G mobile phones.”

As part of 5G efforts, Realme has already worked on dual 5G mode, the company would be the first one in China to launch dual-mode 5G. The company is all set to release its new device Realme X50 5G.

According to Li, the company is focused on the 5G era and will put more emphasis on 5G technology, it will continue to innovate and explore 5G capabilities with its industry partners. The company is focused on creating new industry ecology and brings 5G experience to its global users.

Realme has also highlighted the price plans of its 5G phones, the company said it will keep the entry models remain inexpensive in order to bring 5G connectivity to every young person. Realme has announced quite a few interesting devices in the past few months that are built with strong specifications. The company has now decided to cut out the focus on 4G phones in order to remain competitive in the 5G market.
