‘Ration’ mobile phone application (app.) of Punjab Development Network has been inaugurated by the Punjab governor. The inaugural ceremony was attended by the Akhuwat Foundation Chairman Dr. Amjad Saqib and Begum Governor Perveen Sarwar.
Chaudhry Sarwar on this occasion said that political and religious parties need to work together to fight corona. He said that the launch of Ration Mobile App will ensure transparent distribution of ration and its supply to the deserving families.
He said that the app will make sure that same person does not receive ration from two welfare organizations at a time so that no poor family is deprived of free ration.
Also, the Governor gave more than 10,000 masks, 10,000 sanitizers and 10,000 hyroxycholoroquine injections to Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid.
A meeting took place between the Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar and Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid at Governor House Lahore. The Sarwar Foundation’s Vice Chairperson Begum Perveen Sarwar was also present on this occasion.
The Governor said, “I am happy that philanthropists are actively supporting the federal and Punjab governments in fighting coronvirus. War against corona is not of government alone but has become of every Pakistani and we will win this war through our joint efforts.”
