The winter rain and snowfall spell have started in Pakistan and it will continue for some time now. Rain with snowfall was seen in hills in Upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. The temperature has dropped to -7°C.
Met Office spokesman confirmed that the rain spell in different areas of Pakistan will continue for a couple of days. Cold winds will blow in major parts of Balochistan, Sindh including Karachi.
There are two to three spells of rainfall expected in various parts of Pakistan this December along with snowfall over mountainous areas.
In the next two days, there will be rain, strong winds and snowfall over the hills in upper KP, upper FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan and some places in Punjab including Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha divisions and Islamabad.
The lowest temperature today was in Quetta, Skardu, Kalat that was -07°C, in Dalbandin -04°C, the temperature was recorded while in Parachinar -03°C temperature was seen.
In Islamabad today the temperature is 13°C, tomorrow it will be 15°C and then on Thursday, it will be 17°C. There will be rain in Islamabad tomorrow as well.
