Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, the federal minister for Railways has made the announcement of running a special train for the Christian community on the occasion of Christmas.
According to the details, the special train named Christmas train would run between Karachi and Rawalpindi for the Christian passengers from the 25th to the 29th of this month.
The train with a discount of 20percent on tickets would be leaving the Rawalpindi Station at 10 am on the 25th of December for Karachi.
Similarly, on the 26th of December, the special train would be leaving for Karachi at 6:30 pm to head back to Rawalpindi.
Christians all across the world, which includes the ones residing in Pakistan would be celebrating Christmas on Wednesday that is today. Special services would be held at the Churches throughout the world for celebrating the festival.
On the other hand, as per the latest, the federal cabinet has decided not to introduce the CSS screening test. This test was suggested to be taken before the written examination for testing the domain-specific knowledge of the appearing candidates.
The government has ruled out the option fearing that this test would greatly be affecting the ones residing in the less privileged areas.
