Pakistan Railways would be operating the special Eid trains from the 2nd of June for providing ease to the passengers, as per the announcement made by the Minister of Railways—Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed.
The passengers who would be travelling on the special trains on the first day of Eid would be charged half of the regular fare, as informed by the Railways Minister in a press conference.
He also said that the Railways Construction Pakistan Limited has been provided with the task of track maintenance between Tando Adam to Khanpur.
Recently it was announced by the Minister of Railways that five special Eid trains would be operated by the Railways.

While responding to a question, Sheikh Rasheed said that 34-kilometre track of the Karachi Circular Railway has been cleared while the ten-kilometre track is left which would be cleared in the coming fifteen days.
Previously, the authorities were given directives by the Supreme Court for reviving the Karachi Circular Railway in one month.
The bench directed the Sindh Chief Secretary for starting an anti-encroachment drive with the help of Karachi Mayor and other concerned officials for clearing the railway’s land of encroachments.
Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed in a press conference said that they would try to remove all the encroachments within one month.
