On Saturday Pakistan Railways has declared an emergency to deal with the coronavirus threats, as per the reports of local media.
As per the shared details, the Pakistan Railways would be spraying the disinfectants inside all the trains and the railway stations to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
All the travelling passengers would be screened for the detection of the symptoms of the coronavirus at the railway station of Karachi. A medical desk would be established at the Karachi stations for facilitating and providing awareness regarding the deadly virus to the passengers.
The desk is delegated with the task of creating awareness about the deadly virus on a major scale across the nation and to manage the affairs of the campaign.
The coronavirus prevention sprays are being spread in all the trains before and after they arrive at the major stations of the country.
Banners containing the information and the pamphlets have been printed that are to be distributed out to all the passengers before they board on their respective train journeys.
At the Pakistan Railways Hassan Hospital in Karachi cantonment, a separate ward has also been established that is specifically been set up to deal with the possible coronavirus cases.
Previously, on the 13th of March, the National Security Committee (NSC) has made some important decisions under its plan to combat the coronavirus which includes the closure of the educational institutions, borders, as well as the annulation of the mass gatherings and partial suspension of the flight operations.
