Pakistan Railways on Friday has announced about the introduction of the shuttle train service between Lahore and Gujranwala, as per the reports of local media.
As per a railway spokesperson, the shuttle train service is being introduced on the orders of the federal minister of the Minister for Railways.
The fare of the shuttle service would cost Rs.100, as said by Sheikh Rasheed in a statement.
It must be indicated that back in the month of January, the minister for Railways has announced that Pakistan Railways would be introducing a new shuttle train service between Lahore and Gujranwala from next month.
He also said that PM Khan would be launching the Gujranwala train shuttle service.
Previously, the railways’ department has restored the shuttle train service between Lahore and Wagah Railway Station. The train termed as “Rail Car” has got the capacity of 181 passengers.
The Wagah to Lahore train service was closed back in 1997 owing to the security reasons.
