Railways Produced Additional Revenue of Rs 1bn in Initial 50 Days of Govt

The Pakistan Railways has produced Rs 1bn additional revenue in the initial fifty days of the current government. The revenue has been generated owing to the dedicated efforts of the Minister of Railways—Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, as per a statement issued by the Ministry of Railways.

The statement further said that during the span of August 2017 to October 2017, Pakistan Railways made Rs 5.7billion, while during the span of August 2018 to October 2018, Pakistan Railways made Rs 6.7billion.

The statement also mentioned that it is proof that the railway minister is taking his duties seriously and is trying to take the department on right track.

During the time span under consideration, the ability of Pakistan Railways to make revenue had been raised and the Railways Minister is spending all his energies and efforts for increasing the revenue generation, the statement also specified.

The efforts being made for the betterment of the railway’s department are noticeable. Ever since the present government has taken the charge now and then there is some new announcement regarding the railway’s sector for the improvement of the train transportation facility; may that be the introduction of new trains or reduction in the fares or special occasion trains; every act is thoughtful.

Recently new trains were introduced for the people of Sindh for making their transportation much easier and comfortable.
