Quetta International Airport will be inaugurated on May 30th

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi will inaugurate Quetta International Airport on May 30th.

As per the Advisor to Prime Minister on Aviation, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan Quetta Airport up-gradation and expansion work have been completed, thus it will soon be inaugurated.

As he addressed the inauguration ceremony of extension of Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar Mehtab said, “We have requested the Prime Minister to inaugurate the expansion and up gradation of state of the art Quetta International Airport on May 30.”

Furthermore, Sardar Mehtab said that Peshawar has played its part in the politics, culture, heritage, architecture, human development, and trade of the region, being the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Adding that the inauguration of Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar by the Prime Minister reflects that the city is important to the government of Pakistan.

He said that from now onwards thousands of overseas Pakistanis who live in KPK and Fata will have access to modern and advanced air travel facilities.

Praising the PMLN government Mehtab said that the opening of world-class airports in Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan, and Peshawar is the government’s achievement. It will bring ease in lives of the people and boost trade and foreign investment.

He claimed that in the past five years aviation sector of Pakistan has seen tremendous growth. No other political party can match PMLN’s development work in trade, business, tourism and agriculture industry.

Under ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s leadership, all Pakistani airports have been provided with state of the art facilities before the scheduled time as per Sardar Mehtab.

He also informed that PMLN government will complete the expansion and up-gradation of Lahore International Airport at an approx. cost of $500million.
