Qatar Ambassador Saqr Bin Mubarak said that they need almost 100,000 Pakistani labor for the growth and construction work for FIFA Football World Cup 2022 that will be held in Qatar.
Qatari Government hopes that the maximum people needed for this job come from Pakistan as per the Ambassador. Mubarak said this while in a meeting with Executive Director National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema.

The aim of the meeting was to increase cooperation between Qatar and Pakistan in Technical and Vocational training fields.
Executive Director of NAVTTC explained to the Qatari Ambassador about the development of TVET sector in Pakistan. He said that the technical education given to students in Pakistan is of global standards. Thus, Pakistan’s trained workforce can work in any country as per their needs.
The Ambassador of Qatar complimented the work done by Pakistan to introduce modern, technical education for people of Pakistan. While appreciating Pakistan’s capable workforce he said that Pakistan’s labor and workers are very hardworking and they have played a central role in completing many projects in Qatar in previous years. He added that Qatar will continue to cooperate with NAVTTC.
The meeting ended with Zulfiqar Ahmad Cheema thanking the Ambassador of Qatar and assuring him that Pakistan will fully support Qatar and provide them with skilled workers for not just FIFA World Cup, but for any project needed.
