Punjab Medical College Enforces Uniform for Students

In an attempt to change the apparel worn by the Punjab Medical University students, the campus authorities has issued a notification to enforce a dress code, as per the reports of local media.

As per the issued notification, the students that are enrolled at the university would henceforth be bound to wear a uniform. The directives are both for male and female students.

The males in the university are asked to wear a white sleeved button down shirt and a silver/grey dress pant, or they are provided a provision to wear a white Shalwar Kameez to the educational institute.

The females have been told to wear a while shalwar kameez with a complimentary maroon Dupatta.

Students have also been directed to wear only black coloured shoes to the university campus.

As per the issued notification by the educational institute, jeans, t-shirts, joggers and skirts have been banned strictly.

As per the latest reports, the schools in Lahore are to close early during the Pakistan and Bangladesh match days. According to the spokesperson for the Punjab Education Department, the schools would be closing at 11 am on the 24th and 25th of January due to the T-20 matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Gaddafi Stadium.
