Sardar Usman Buzdar—the Chief Minister of Punjab said that Punjab would be made an exemplary province with respect to providing the best health and education facilities to the province residents.
On Thursday the CM said this during a meeting with the provincial ministers, the members of the provincial and national assembly at the CM’s office.
The CM said that as per the vision of the Prime Minister—Imran Khan, more stress was being given on the development of the social sector.
He added that there are no such examples in the history for surging more than 8,000 beds in any government hospitals throughout the province.
With the surge of 8,350 beds, patients would be provided more comfort in government hospitals.
The CM said that he desires early completion of the hospital and Nishtar-II project in Mianwali. He would ensure and would pay surprise visits for checking up on the government hospital for reviewing the latest situation.
He added that all promises of giving quality education by making 4 new universities in the province would be fulfilled.
The Chief Minister said that for the early completion of the development projects and for assuring transparency, an e-monitoring system was being developed and introduced.
He further said that solid measures are being taken for the early completion of nearly 2,500 projects throughout the province.
Under the Punjab Municipal Service Programme, provision and water drainage projects would be completed.
He added that he would make cities of the province better under the Punjab Citizens Programme of World Bank.
