The health department has warned in a letter to all the commissioners and RPOs of the province that it has been observed that the implementation of SOPs has been neglected. The government SOPs are not being followed. It is important to ensure social distance and wearing a mask. In the last 24 hours, 188 new cases of coronavirus were reported in Punjab province while 2 people died of coronavirus. The total number of deaths from the coronavirus in the province so far is 2,182. According to the spokesperson health department, 824,250 tests have been done so far and the number of people recovering from the coronavirus in the province has reached 86,441.
