Punjab Grocery Stores to Close at 8pm


As the number of COVID-19 cases in Punjab has increased and the province has overtaken Sindh in terms of the total number of cases, Punjab has decided to tighten its lockdown.

Following steps taken by Sindh, Punjab has also decided to close the grocery and medical stores till 8 pm.

It has been warned by the government that strict action would be taken against the people who violate the lockdown orders.

As per the Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, the government is working on an aid package for the poor people.

Punjab has reported 448 coronavirus cases as of Friday evening. The nationwide tally of coronavirus cases has crossed 1300 as the provincial and federal government has locked down most parts of the country.

Coming to the good news, two patients of coronavirus were discharged from the hospital in Quetta after recovering from the COVID-19.

In another news, China has agreed to set up a hospital in a government university campus of Punjab until the threat of the epidemic coronavirus subsides

People all across Pakistan are staying at home, washing their hands regularly and are practicing social distancing to make sure that the virus does not spread.
