The government of Punjab has made the announcement on Thursday that it would be setting up 100 insaf schools in the city of Lahore this year.
According to the details, the Punjab Education Authority has taken the decision of setting up 100 Insaf schools in Lahore before the commencement of a new educational session. A notification has also been issued pertaining to this.
As per the notification, 100 schools would be established in rented buildings for which the education authority has given approval to Rs.200 million. The amount has been transferred into the accounts of 5 deputies DO’s.

The notice further stated that the Excise Department would fully be inspecting the buildings before taking them on rent for educational purposes.
Previously, back in 2019, Usman Buzdar, the CM of Punjab had introduced the Insaf afternoon schools program for providing education to the out-of-school children, while reviving the Urdu medium of instructions, with English as subject, up to the primary level education in the province.
