According to the latest reports, the government of Punjab has decided to fix new working hours for businesses and commercial areas across the province. According to the new timings, the businesses in Punjab will remain open from 8 am to 10 pm.
A high-level meeting was held in the Chief Minister’s Office on the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar. The meeting was chaired by the Provincial Law Minister Raja Basharat. Important issues related to the business were discussed on the occasion.
The meeting decided to fix new working hours of commercial establishments. Business establishments in Punjab will be open from 8 am to 10 pm. Not applicable to clinics, pharmacy, grocery, food stores, and general stores, etc. According to the details.
The meeting agreed to ensure wearing masks in markets and bazaars would be mandatory.
During the meeting, the leaders also agreed on the aspect that Corona is declining, caution should not be neglected, wearing masks would be made necessary to go to crowded places. The committee also decided to send recommendations to the NCOC to ease other restrictions that are currently in place. Earlier today Murad Raas, the minister for education discussed the reopening of schools in the province, the meeting was not comprehensive however, it indicated that the schools would not be opened for minor, only the children above 5th grade would be recommended to join schools after September 15.
