Punjab Govt. to Implement Single National Curriculum from 2021

Single National Curriculum

The government of Punjab would start implementing the Single National Curriculum from the academic year 2021-2022.

As per the shared details, a notification has been issued by the Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board. As per that the new curriculum would be taught to the grades from I to V.

The decision was granted approval by the CM Punjab Usman Buzdar earlier in the month of December during a meeting of the provincial cabinet. As per the government, the system would assist in eradicating the role of the learning system and would improve the skills of the students.

Previously, on the 25th of June PM Khan had said that the plan of the incumbent government is to implement a uniform education system from the month of March 2021.

While speaking he also said that 2.5 million students at the religious madaris would be brought out into the main light.
