The government of Punjab has imposed the no mask-no service policy across the province. It has mandated wearing face masks in public places.
As per an issued official notice, all the residents of the province must wear face masks at public places and in public transport. Anyone found without a face mask would not be provided the needed services in any government or private establishment.
The directive has come into effect immediately and would remain imposed in the province until further orders are given by the government of Punjab.
The directives would be spread via newspapers, TV channels and radio stations for the information of the general public.
The government of Punjab has instructed all the Deputy Commissioners to make sure that the orders are complied with within their respective districts.
Earlier, the Hazara division place had introduced a no mask-no shopping and no mask-no petrol drive, aimed at compelling the citizens to stick to the SOPs that have been released by the government.
