It has been announced by the Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar that the Punjab government is working on an online system for issuing land ownership. At commercial banks, separate counters will be established all across Punjab to handle the matters regarding property ownership. Also, the online system will be operational on 1st July.
A meeting was chaired by CM Buzdar in this regard and emphasis was given was solving the customer’s complaints regarding revenue matters. He said that no delay will be accepted in the resolution of these complaints.
It was instructed by the Chief Minister that the system should enable the depositing of dues at each and every land record center that will be developed on government buildings.
Furthermore, the Punjab Chief Minister said that no complaints regarding revenue officials will be tolerated. Thus, a helpline will be established for it to track the performance of every official. He also advised on a system to lease state land in order to promote farming and agriculture in Punjab.
Top ranking officials of the government will monitor these projects and the funds invested in them to ensure that they are completed in a timely manner.
The Punjab government wants to digitally transform different sectors of Punjab. They are also working on medical services online portal to ease the lives of patients.
