Punjab Government Grants PKR 740 Billion for the Education Sector
Recently, CM Punjab granted PKR 740 billion for the education sector. At the same time, the federal government is considering a single national curriculum.

Today, the Chief Minister of Punjab approved a mega provincial education-based project worth Rs. 740 billion.
It is said that the provincial schools’ department urged CM Usman Buzdar to grant Rs. 740 billion improve school systems. The mega reform project is said to be completed within 3 years.
It is also added that another grant of Rs. 1.8 billion would be spent on improving classrooms, Rs. 6 billion for computer labs, Rs. 10 billion for furniture, Rs. 1.5 billion for science labs, and Rs. 65 billion for libraries and playgrounds.
In addition to this step from the Punjab Government, the federal government is also taking some measures where the Federal Minister for Education, Shafqat Mahmood, said:
While we have taken a number of initiatives including a single national curriculum, A formal Education policy for the country is necessary,
So in my direction, a process has been started by the Ministry of Education which includes widespread consultation. All suggestions welcome.
