Punjab Minister for Industries and Trade Mian Aslam Iqbal has announced a soft loan scheme for the youth. The initiative that is being taken by the Punjab Government for the youngsters of the province will be formally announced in the provincial budget in October. He was talking to the media after holding an open court.
Basically, the youth will be granted loan up to Rs 3 million under this program. After one year of its issuance, the loan repayment will start.
He claimed that due to mistakes of the previous government, the people are suffering from several issues. Even though Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government also started quite similar projects but it did not provide relief to the common people, instead it negatively affected the economy.
Mr. Iqbal said that Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was democratically elected by the people with the hope that the party workers under Imran Khan’s leadership will resolve the problems of the people. Therefore reforms are being introduced that will tackle the complaints and grievances of the people.
For three hours the minister listened to the issues of the public and at the spot, he issued an order to resolve them. He said that through open court sessions, the real issues of people can be learned and addressed therefore they are extremely important.
For the promotion of industrialization, special economic zones will be built. In PTI’s 100-day programme 1 million people will be granted employment annually. Technical education will be promoted through training programmes. Those who are deprived of education will be given opportunities to becomes important & useful citizens of Pakistan.
