Sargodha also known as “City Of Falcons” is the part of Punjab which is long been neglected by the authorities from the development point of view, it is 11th largest city of Pakistan with around 1.5 million population.
But the recent development is streamlined, as many as 13 public toilets have been built so far in the city of Sargodha and surroundings, 11 are under construction, which is expected to be completed by next month.
So in total Sargodha and surroundings will have 24 public toilets by next month in the central part of the city, according to officials, the public toilets are designed to separate men and women portions and are equipped will all required modern accessories with fully tiled floors.
In a small official ceremony at commissioner office in Sargodha, the completed toilets were handed over to the concerned authorities including PHA, SMC and DHQ hospital and district government.
The ceremony was attended by deputy commissioner Sargodha, PHA director general and Mayor.
Sargodha will have only 13 public toilets in total, 4 toilets will be in khushab, 3 in mianwali and 4 in bhakkar, the development fund is acquired through CM special packages and district government funds.
Five toilets are located near DHQ Hospital, Block no: 6, Khushab Road, Rehmatul Almeen Park and Tehsil office, the concerned authorities including PHA, DHQ and Sargodha Municipal Committee would be responsible for maintenance of the toilets.
