The public toilet finder app is to be launched on November 19th especially for tourists. It will help them in finding public toilers across KP province.
The assistant coordinator of water and sanitation services cell (W&SC) of local government department Imranullah Mohmand announced this development. He informed this while briefing Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Science and Technology, Kamran Bangash.
A similar app is run in Australia and India to facilitate the masses, as per Mr. Mohmand. Now, this facility will also be available in KP.
The aim is to ensure that the province remains clean and the environment is protected from degradation. It will also prevent diseases among citizens.
The app will have all the necessary information about toilets that includes distance, male, female, children and disabled persons.
The initiative of W&SC was appreciated by Mr. Bangash. He said that it will facilitate the people and help in projecting a positive image of KP.
In order to make Pakistan clean and green, these initiatives are being given under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Resources are being utilized to digitalize KP and make it a paper-free province.
