Public to Get Access to 49 Govt. Guest Houses in KP by Sept.

The public is to get access to 49 government guest houses in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa by September this year. These guest houses were previously used as the official residences. They would be made available to the general public by September as a measure for boosting tourism.

Prime Minister—Imran Khan was briefed about this measure while he chaired a review meeting on the opening condition of the guesthouses and the official residences located in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for the use of the general public.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Minister of KP—Mahmood Khan, the Chief Secretary of KPK—Muhammad Saleem, Tourism Minister—Atif Khan, Secretary Tourism—Kamran Rehman and other senior officials.

The chief minister has announced a special program for the elderly of the province of Punjab. As per the program, the senior citizens who are more than 65 years in age would be getting a monthly stipend.

This measure is for sure effective and beneficial for the senior citizens as in that way they would have some amount in their hands even if they have retired and are at home enjoying their retired life.
