Earlier today, PCB signed a broadcasting deal with the sports channel PTV Sports. PTV Sports is going to telecast domestic and international matches of Pakistan, including the Quaid-e-Azam trophy.
After a successful National T20 Cup, PCB is gearing up for the important Quaid-e-Azam trophy. The leading first-class domestic tournament of Pakistan is set to commence from the 25th of October in Karachi.
As per the reports, PTV Sports announced to telecast eleven out of thirty-one trophy matches.
The first 3 rounds of the QEA trophy will take place in 3 venues across Karachi, before an 11-day break for the remaining PSL matches, programmed to begin from November 14th.
NBP sports complex, National Stadium Karachi, and UBL stadium will be hosting the matches in the first 3 rounds, whereas State Bank Stadium will also be used after the break, hosting a total of 6 matches.
PCB has also publicized huge prize money of Rs.10 million for the winners of the tournament, while the runner ups will receive Rs.5 million. Top performers of the tournament in each category will receive Rs.500, 000 each, and the man of the final will receive Rs.50, 000.
On Sunday, Defending Champions Central Punjab and Sindh will face off in the first match of the tournament beginning.
