In order to fulfill its commitments, the PTI-led federal government of Pakistan has released the funds of at least Rs8 billion for the completion of the ongoing development projects in Sindh’s capital Karachi.
As per the details, the funds released by the federal government for Karachi will be spent through the Sindh Infrastructure Development Company (SIDC). The funds of 8 billion rupees will be utilized in the reconstruction of the Nishtar Road, Manghopir Road, and Signal free corridor from Matric Board office to Sakhi Hassan.

The details further said that Rs2 billion will be spent for making Green Line Project functional till Numaish Chowrangi, and another Rs500 million has been reserved for the construction of the Institute of Technical and Management Science Sindh’s another city Hyderabad.
Khan-led federal government of Pakistan had announced a package of Rs162 billion for the provincial capital of Sindh in the month of March, this year.
While announcing the package for Karachi, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan had said that it includes ten projected related to the public transportation and seven to the sewerage systems on the metropolitan city.
