PTDC Tourism App for Pakistan in the Making

Chairman of the Pakistan Tourism Development (PTDC) Sayed Zulfiqar Bukhari said that PTDC is going to design and launch an application that will promote tourism in the country.

The app will have important information on appealing recreational sites all over Pakistan and it will be updated with time. It will help the local and foreign tourists navigate in Pakistan having important information in hand.

Zulfiqar Bukhari while addressing the launch ceremony of a similar mobile app designed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Corporation said, “The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has again taken the lead in carrying forward Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision about tourism.”

He further said, “The tourism sector will flourish in the near future and if it takes technology as an enabler, travel for everyone will be simplified.”

He said that the federal government will use the template at the national level and then share it with other provinces. It will help boost tourism in Pakistan, hence strengthening the economy of the country.

An official launch date of the app was not announced, but as soon as we hear more about the app we will update our readers.
