Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited—PTCL has launched the Gamers Hub for the gaming community at the 2-day event—Face Music Mela 2019 which was held at the Pakistan National Council of Arts in the capital city.
This gaming event is focused on giving computer and console gaming enthusiasts a first-hand experience of the PTCL’s high-speed internet.

Moqeem Ul Haque—the Chief Commercial Officer of PTCL on the occasion said that leveraging the digital services and experiences of Etisalat Group in the United Arab Emirates, PTCL is giving a platform with unlimited internet and data, where the tech-enthusiast youth of the country could experience multi-player networked gaming within the nation. He added that it would also give the exciting chance of boosting the profile of Pakistan’s growing gaming community, providing a unique and combined platform for the gaming community for socializing and competing.
PTCL realized that true gaming experience could only be acquired with best-in-class broadband services with optimized latency towards the renown gaming servers in the world.
PTCL being the largest internet service provider is actively busy in route optimization and such initiative to acquire lower inactivity and better user experience for the gaming on Asian and European servers.
The firm has started to bring transformation under the Network Transformation Project (NTP) with upgradation of the top ten 100 exchanges throughout Pakistan.
Under the project, PTCL has already started to offer Fibre-To-The-Home (FTTH) in the selected areas in Pakistan with speeds up to 100Mbps along with state-of-the-art technology—Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON).
