PTCL EVO Services Discontinued in Selected Cities

From 16th February 2018 PTCL has discontinued its EVO services and replaced it with CharJi services. PTCL has discontinued this service in some selected cities of Pakistan including Khariyan, Lala Musa, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Multan, and Faisalabad.

PTCL will provide the customers in the above-mentioned cities with free upgrade service to Charji. In order to upgrade the EVO device to CharJi, the PTCL customer has to visit any nearby PTCL shop or distributor. Make sure you take your old EVO device along with your original CNIC with you.

This offer or change of services is in limited cities. So apart from these cities the rest of Pakistan will still have EVO services available. If you need more information in this regard you can call the PTCL helpline 1218.

CharJi EVO is one of the fastest wireless broadband service available in Pakistan. It provides users with more speed, fast downloading option & great browsing possibility. Because of its unbelievable speed, PTCL Charji services became really famous immediately after their launch. In comparison to other EVO services, Charji service allows the users to do all the activities over internet rapidly, from checking emails to downloading videos to sending & receiving of messages everything has become fast. So the annoyance that arises with the slow internet has become minimal with the ease brought with CharJi services. They allow you to remain in touch with friends & family by providing fast internet services.

Last year PTCL introduced an interesting device for its users. PTCL introduced “PTCL EVO Carfi” a device specifically for your cars, cigar cigar-shaped. You can plug the device into your car’s cigarette socket and then get access to fast internet, as you travel towards your destination.

Other then this it is pertinent to mention here that PTCL has recently signed an agreement with Microsoft. It is called  Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) partnership and Service Provider Licensing Agreement Partnership (SPLA). The aim of this agreement is to improve the PTCL cloud services.
