Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) encourages customers to go for the option of eBilling, instead of getting monthly paper bills, in its efforts of making a paper-free environment.
This step would not just be creating awareness for preserving nature however would also give customers an opportunity to make contributions towards this cause.
The Chief Commercial Officer of PTCL—Moqeem ul Haque on the occasion said that PTCL being a national firm, takes its responsibility towards the reduction of paper usage across the firm that could have a significant impact in going green. He added that they try to give customers easy and convenient choices like eBilling that is secure and saves time.
The company has taken steps for assuring that many avenues are open for the customers to choose for eBilling. Customers could subscribe online via PTCL website at ptcl.com.pk/eBill and via the TouchApp (Android & iOS). They could also call on the helpline of PTCL 1218, subscribe to eBilling and choose out of receiving paper bills.
All the new customers are now getting the eBills only.
Additionally, customers could pay their bills without showing a paper bill using UPaisa. The only requirement from them is to give their telephone number with the area code.
PTCL is trying to make contributions towards making the environment safe and green.
