For the facilitation of all the telecom consumers, a new toll-free number has been launched for the registration of complaints.
The Consumer Support Center has been launched by PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) which comprises of efficient and trained agents.
The availability of the service will be continued for seven days of a week from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm via a toll-free number 0800-55055. This service has been launched today at the headquarters of PTA in Islamabad by Chairman PTA, Major General Amir Azeem Bajwa.
Consumer service centre aims to facilitate and provide ease to the public in lodging complaints to telecom services. Public can register complains regarding internet service providers, device identification registration and blocking system, cellular mobile telephony, fixed/wireless telephony, web content may it be blasphemy, pornography etc, UIN, UAN, allocation of short/CVAS registration.
There is required information a consumer needs to provide in order to help the agent solve the problem.
PTA is familiar about the problem faced by the telecom consumers says the chairman. And the launching of these services shows PTA’s commitment to a deeper understanding of the consumers’ basic needs, innovation and progressive solutions that are required to be provided to the public.
If consumers complain does not get addressed by a relevant telecom operator or the customers remain unsatisfied then they can easily launch complain at the PTA’s website pta.gov.pk to get a speedy solution.
