PSL Eliminator 1 match at Lahore might be ruined with expected rain

PSL 3 is all set to begin the match between Peshawar Zalmi the defending champion and Quetta Gladiators today at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore. But the PSL match at Lahore might be ruined with expected rain which is about to come.

According to the PSL Fixtures, the match is scheduled to begin at local time 19:00 and GMT 14:00 hours. However, the weather conditions in Lahore are daunting for cricket lovers especially for the people who have traveled across cities to watch the game.

People who have already bought the tickets are waiting for a miracle to happen so their time, effort and money invested to watch the game could be paid off.

Dollar Price in Pakistan has reached Rs.117

Since the weather forecast is not in favor of the match but here are some details I wish to share with you people. According to weather.com hourly forecast, the rain is expected to start at 5:30 pm. The forecast tells us there is 15% to 45% chance of rain between 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm which then decreased to 15% change till the midnight.

I have witnessed rain when there is more than 40% chance of rain, but considering the exact location of the stadium, nothing can be said for sure. The chance of rain applies to entire Lahore equally; there is also a chance that Lahore’s eastern area gets the rainfall but not Lahore’s western area.

Now the clock is ticking continuously and the clouds are maneuvering to form enough droplets where they can start thundering, while visitors are holding their breath and giving notations why it shouldn’t rain today before or between the match.
