Wasim Akram, the former captain of Pakistan has said that the PSL and IPL cannot be compared as IPL started back in the year 2008.
While talking about the bowling quality, the legendary cricketer said that all the foreigners who play both the leagues’ rate PSL as the better one among the two. He further said that the Indian Premier League is only superior to the Pakistan Super League owing to the reason that it has been there for eleven to twelve years in comparison to PSL which started in 2016.

He also said that PSL is the second biggest tournament in the World after the IPL. However, to compare both the leagues is not justified. PSL is enjoying its initial birthdays and it has just seen 5 editions, whereas IPL is a more mature tournament that is being played from 11 to 12 years. He also added that there is a lot more money in that.
Wasim Akram has worked for both the leagues which includes Multan Sultans, Islamabad United, Kolkata Knight Riders, Karachi Kings said that he used to ask the foreign cricketers regarding the thing that makes the two leagues different.
He said that he usually used to get an answer about the bowling quality difference which the international players think is much better in PSL than IPL. He continued that the foreign top players believe there is at least 1 bowler in the IPL teams who could be attacked.
The legendary cricketer of Pakistan also said that IPL is a groud for nurturing and breeding young and talented batsmen, whereas this particular area is where PSL is lacking.
