The PCB Chairman while conversing with the media informed that the National Stadium of Karachi has received a green signal for hosting the final match of the Super League from the security consultants and authorities.
Najam Sethi added that observing the successful arrangements for the upcoming event, it is expected that the West Indies team would also be coming to Karachi for playing a match out of three of the T20I series.
After Sri Lanka, West Indies would be the second significant international cricket team to pay a visit to Pakistan after the attack on the Sri Lankan team in 2009.
As per reports, the initial dates of the team’s visit have been changed. According to the revised dates, West Indies would be playing the three matches on three consecutive days after the directions of Sindh government.
Najam Sethi even posted a tweet regarding this matter, which read:
The West Indies will play 3 T20 matches with Pakistan in National Stadium Karachi on 1st, 2nd and 3rd April 2018. The dates have been adjusted on advice of Sindh govt so that there is no match on the occasion of Barsi of ex PM Pak Mr Z A Bhutto on April 4th.

It is worth mentioning that international cricket is returning to Pakistan though the speed is slow, yet it is happening which is a positive sign for the country and its image worldwide.
