PSL 2021 is to include new cities as the possible venues for its matches.
Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 or PSL 5 would be beginning from the 20th of February and the fans are eagerly waiting for the grand series. Multan and Rawalpindi would be hosting the matches along with Lahore and Karachi. The cricket lovers of the country are more excited than they were ever before.
For things more exciting, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) CEO Wasim Khan has hinted about including 2 more venues in 2021. This step is being taken for involving more cricket fans from all parts of the nation, as well as to upgrade these locations for international cricket.
From the coming year onwards, they are striving to be in a position for adding a couple of more locations. They are looking to develop more and more venues which offer an opportunity to take the game across the nation.
He also said that they are looking at Multan, Peshwar and Faisalabad which has hosted the National T20 Cup and needs little up-gradation after which it could be an international location, and Hyderabad for which they were working with the government of Sindh for its up-gradation.
PSL has so far acted as a catalyst for bringing the international cricket back to the country and the fans are anticipating more cricket in the nation in the years to come.
