It has been reported that the PPP-led provincial government of Sindh has announced to close all public libraries across the province to prevent the further spread of the deadly coronavirus in the country.
According to a notification issued by the provincial authorities, “All public libraries in Sindh will remain close till March 13 to avoid the spread of coronavirus in the province.”

It is worth mentioning here that due to the fears of spreading of the SARS-like virus, the provincial government had already announced to close the educational institutes in the province till March 13.
The provincial minister for education confirmed that no further extension in the school holidays will be announced in the future.
On the other hand, Balochistan province, bordering Iran, has announced holidays for the educational institutions till March 15.
It is to be mentioned here that the government of Pakistan has also sealed the border with the neighboring country Iran, which is badly hit by the deadly virus outbreak from China that claimed more than 50 lives in the country so far.
