The Private Schools Association in Sindh on Saturday said that they would be offering fee concessions and also the chance to pay fees in installments to the parents, in consideration of the economic constraints caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
Before the reopening of the schools from the 28th of September many private schools in a joint conference gave assurance to the government that the school staff would wear the face masks at all times. They also said that the school management would also check the temperature of the students before they enter the school premises.
As per reports, the leader of the association-Haider Ali said that children would be called to the schools in shifts on alternate days. He also said that they have taken the decision of suspending the break times and sports days in the schools.
In the meantime, another leader of the private schools association-Shehzad Akhtar appealed to the parents to send their children with a mask, water bottle, and lunch from homes.
Earlier, the Education Minister of Sindh-Saeed Ghani met the officeholders of the private school association and discussed the reopening of the schools.
In the meeting, the minister said that all the schools would have to ensure that the government-issued SOPs are abided and implemented properly. He also said that strict action would be taken against the schools found violating the safety protocols defined.
