The private schools in the province of Sindh would be allowed to collect the fees of only one month from the parents. The provincial government has barred the schools from taking the advance fees. As per the issues directives any school found collecting extra fees might get their registration annulled.
As per a notification issued by the Directorate of the Private Institutions, Sindh School Education and the Literacy Department, private schools have been told not to lay off any staff members during the current coronavirus crisis.
Furthermore, the notice has urged the schools to not collect fees from the needy students during these pressing times.
It further said that the institutions must pay the salaries to the teachers and to the other staff members on time, and in case they fail to do so they would then be subjected to legal action.
The corona epidemic has affected almost all nations of the world and has led to a downfall in economies. Many countries have imposed lockdown and amid that many businesses are going in losses and chances are that many people might even lose their jobs.
On the other hand, many provincial governments of the country which includes the Sindh and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government have taken the decision of extending the schools and other educational institutions closure until May 31. Furthermore, they have informed all that this break should be taken as summer vacations.
