Private Hajj Group Organisers to Submit Documents by 20th May

The private Hajj group organizers (HGOs) have been asked by the Ministry fo Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony to submit the required documents by the 20th of this month.

The HGOs who would fail in submitting the documents on time their Hajj quota allocation would be cancelled, as mentioned in a notification issued recently.

The Hajj quota would be allocated to the companies who would successfully submit their documents within the prescribed time.

As per a notification, if the HGOs failed to submit the particular documents before the deadline then the ministry of Religious Affairs would not be responsible if the Hajj quota is not allocated to that particular Private Hajj Group Organiser.

Previously, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia increased the Hajj quota for the Pakistani pilgrims, thus an extra 15,790 number of Pakistanis would be able to perform the Hajj this year.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony informed that the balloting of the additional quota would be done after the approval is received from the federal cabinet.
