Prime Minister Imran Khan to receive Bahrain’s highest civil award

Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari who is also known as Zulfi Bukhari—a Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis told that Prime Minister Imran Khan will receive the highest civil award of Bahrain, the King Hamad Order of the Renaissance.

Arab News, in its report, quoted Zulfi Bukhari that Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is going on an official visit to Bahrain in mid-December where he will be conferred the highest civilian award of Bahrain.

SAMP further added that Prime Minister Imran Khan will receive the award at a special ceremony during his visit to the Gulf nation.

According to the KSA-based newspaper, the award was also conferred upon the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi on August 25, the same month that India revoked the special status of Indian-held Jammu and Kashmir from its constitution.

As per the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for official visit to Bahrain on December 15 and will attend the national day celebrations of Gulf nation as the special guest.

The report by Arab News added that PM Khan, while in Bahrain, will meet the Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

It is pertinent to mention here that Prime Minister Imran Khan will also visit Switzerland and Malaysia. In Geneva, the premier is also expected to address a conference on refugees.
