A meeting between the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan and the President of the United States Donald J. Trump is scheduled in the White House today.
The leaders of both states to hold talks on cementing the relations between Islamabad and Washington in a range of areas.
The talk between the two leaders will develop the bilateral cooperation on trade and investment as well as expand the efforts toward peace in the region, especially in Afghanistan.
As per the details, President Donald Trump will welcome PM Imran Khan in his Oval Office for talks. After that, the meeting between Donald Trump and Imran Khan will be extended as the details said that the cabinet members and the senior Pentagon leaders will also join later.
Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Advisor to PM on Commerce Abdul Razzaq Dawood and Special Assistant to PM on Overseas Zulfikar Bukhari are accompanying the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.
On the other hand, a delegation of the US investors led by the member of Democratic Party and a prominent trader Javed Anwar met PM Khan in Washington DC.
