OGRA Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority reduced the price of the LPG cylinders to Rs111 for the month of February this Friday. After the reduction of the prices, now the domestic cylinder will be sold at Rs1, 680.
The same cylinders were sold in Rs1791 in the month of January. A summary has been sent by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority to the federal government in order to recommend a modification in the prices of all petroleum products.

As per the recommendation, the price of kerosene oil should be reduced by 6 paisa and 66 paisa. An increase in the price of high-speed diesel has been suggested by the authority, up to Rs2.47 and Rs1.10 in light diesel.
In December 2019, a notification was issued by the finance ministry to increase the price of petrol up to Rs2.61 per liter for January 2020.
