The federal government is under huge pressure to strike a deal with the ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and ex-President Asif Ali Zardari. The information minister revealed this information.
The minister said that the government is receiving voluntary advice from different people to deal with the case of Nawaz Sharif and Zardari.
Information Minister said, “Everyday, there is someone telling us that our anti-corruption efforts are hindering the functioning of the parliament. Some people are advising us to go easy on Zardari and Sharif; others want us to negotiate settlements.”
Adding, “These people need to realise that until the PTI is in power and Imran Khan is prime minister of Pakistan, there will be no deals for the corrupt.”
He said both the ex PM and ex President are responsible for money laundering by developing fake companies.
Chaudhry said, “They are a mafia, and generations of their families are reaping the benefits of their corruption.”
Adding on he said that the PM Imran Khan and the PTI party will work on and expose the people responsible for the issues in Pakistan.
He claimed that, “We are seven months into our tenure and there has been no corruption scandal against any federal minister.”
